The comic exhibition "Kugelblitz" opened on 28th March 2006 in the atrium of the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. This exhibition was put together by the Goethe-Institut Tokyo with the artists as part of the "Germany in Japan 2005/2006 Festival".

Auch formal haben sich die Werner-Comics leider nicht weiterentwickelt. Das RennenEiskalt - der vierte, 1985 erschienene Band der Reihe - ist der einzige Comic, der es je in Deutschland in die Bestsellerliste gebracht hat. In ihm beschreibt Feldmannn u.a. das Wettrennen zwischen Werners aufgemotztem, dreimotorigen Horex-Zweirad ("Red Porsche Killer") und dem roten Porsche des Kneipiers Holgi. [G]

Unfortunately, the Werner comics have also failed to develop in formal terms. The drawings may have become ever smoother, more appealing and more colourful, but it was precisely the delicate yet expansive style of the early years, with its chaotic mixture of empty spaces, wild hatching and manic-obsessive attention to detail, that was so unusual and attractive at that time. The RaceEiskalt (i.e. Ice Cold) - the fourth volume in the series - appeared in 1985 and is the only comic book ever to have been placed on the German bestseller list. In it, Feldmann relates, among other things, the race between Werner's souped-up, three-engine Horex motorbike (the "Red Porsche Killer") and the pub landlord Holgi's red Porsche.
