Programm languages
There are three program languages for BEOLINGUS: English (standard); German, and Spanish. In most cases, your browser will send your preferred language, so the display can adjust automatically. You can change the language manually in the menu at the right corner on top of the page .Browsing

Structure of the translation result
The main entries of the translation result include the
root word,
and often synonyms, followed by further information like
{part of speech}, [special subject] or (explanation) -
see Abbreviations, e.g.
Ding {n}; Sache {f}
The indented results are grammatical forms
or examples, e.g.:
Dinge {pl}; Sachen {pl}; Krempel {m}

By clicking at the triangles
resp.
at the side of the main entry you can show or hide all additional forms and examples.
Click at the double triangles
resp.
to show or hide all additional results.
Usually, you can click on any word in the translation results to start a new search.
Abbreviations in translation results
In most entries you'll find abbreviated additional information:- in braces: part of speech, e.g. {adj} for adjektive
- in square brackets: usage hints:
- country-specific usage, e.g. [Am.] - American English,
- Style, e.g. [vulg.] - vulgar,
- special usage, e.g. [chem.] - chemistry
- in parenthesis: explanations, examples, hints

Conversions
Within conversions you can convert various international measurement units, like Fahrenheit to Celsius, miles to kilometres etc.Browsers
