	Ich beziehe mich auf einen Leserbrief in der letzten Ausgabe.	I write with reference to a reader's letter in the last issue.
	Dabei beziehe ich mich bis zur Wiedervereinigung der beiden deutschen Länder 1990 ausschließlich auf westdeutsche Entwicklungen, da der Mangel an Zugang zu Technologien wie Video und Computer quasi zur Unmöglichkeit der Entstehung von Medienkunst in der ehemaligen DDR beigetragen hat. 	Artikel 12 Absatz 3 TRLIS könne nicht als allgemeine Regel für die Abschreibung des finanziellen Geschäfts- oder Firmenwerts bezeichnet werden, da er sich auf die steuerliche Abzugsfähigkeit von Beteiligungen an nicht börsennotierten Unternehmen beziehe. Diese Bestimmung beziehe sich auf die Wertminderung des theoretischen Buchwertes und nicht auf den finanziellen Geschäfts- oder Firmenwert. Artikel 12 Absätze 3 und 5 TRLIS seien zwei einander ergänzende allgemeine Vorschriften: Gegenstand von Absatz 3 sei die durch negative Ergebnisse des Zielunternehmens bedingte Wertminderung, während sich Absatz 5 lediglich auf den steuerlichen Abzug des Teils der Wertminderung beziehe, der durch die Wertminderung des finanziellen Geschäfts- oder Firmenwerts bedingt sei. [EU]	It is incorrect to present Article 12(3) TRLIS as the general rule for amortisation of financial goodwill since this Article refers to the deduction of shareholdings in non-listed entities.
