Auch

hat
er
die
Spielweisen
zahlreicher
Schauspieler

,

Even
if
today
this
gesture
looks
very
different
from
that
in
Brecht's
model

,
it
has
shaped
the
manner
of
performance
of
numerous
actors
-
among
other
reasons
,
because
one

schools
,

Aus
der
biografischen
Geste
entstand
ein
neuer
Realismus
im
deutschen
Film:
Es
gelang
den
Filmemachern
der
dritten
Migrantengeneration
,
den
dissidenten
Blick
mit
einer
Kunst
des
Geschichtenerzählens
zu

What
started
as
a
biographical
gesture
turned
into
a
new
realism
in
German
film:
the
film-makers
of
the
third
immigrant
generation
successfully
managed
to
link
the
dissident
view
with
a
storyteller's
art
.
"Das
ist
doch
keine
Geste
gegenüber
der
Vernichtung
von
so
vielen
Menschen
.
Das
sieht
aus
wie
'Angriff
erwartet
!'" [G]
"That's
by
no
means
a
gesture
against
the
destruction
of
so
many
people
.
It
looks
like
'Attack
expected
!'"
Die
"Verfremdung"
,
mit
deren
Hilfe
die
Fabel
abgekühlt
werden
sollte
,
umfasste
sämtliche
Theatermittel
und
insbesondere
die
Spielweise:
"Die
Voraussetzung
für
die
Hervorbringung
des
V-Effekts
ist
,
dass
der
Schauspieler
das
,
was
er
zu
zeigen
hat
,
mit
dem
deutlichen
Gestus
des
Zeigens
versieht
." (
Neue
Technik
der
Schauspielkunst
) [G]
This
"alienation"
,
with
whose
help
the
story
was
to
be
cooled
off
,
comprised
all
the
means
of
theatre
and
in
particular
the
manner
of
performance:
"The
presupposition
for
the
production
of
alienation-effects
is
that
the
actor
discharges
what
he
is
to
show
with
the
clear
gesture
of
showing"
(Neue
Technik
der
Schauspielkunst
[i.e., New Techniques of Acting]).
Doch
auch
wenn
Brecht
kein
Vordenker
des
"Postdramatischen"
war:
Das
"epische
Theater"
,
der
"Gestus
des
Zeigens"
und
"das
Lehrstück"
haben
sich
als
mythische
Begriffe
längst
selbständig
gemacht
. [G]
Yet
even

and
"the
didactic
play"
have
long
since
taken
on
an
independent
life
in
the
form
of
mythic
concepts
.
