Oktober 2004 veröffentlichte die Kommission im Amtsblatt der Europäischen Union eine Bekanntmachung über die Einleitung eines Antidumpingverfahrens (nachstehend "Bekanntmachung über die Verfahrenseinleitung" genannt) betreffend die Einfuhren von TCCA mit Ursprung in den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika (nachstehend "USA" abgekürzt) in die Gemeinschaft. [EU]	On 13 October 2004, the Commission announced by a notice (notice of initiation) published in the Official Journal of the European Union [4], the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding with regard to imports into the Community of TCCA originating in the United States of America (USA).
	Am 7. April 2005 wurde mit der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 538/2005 der Kommission (nachstehend "vorläufige Verordnung" genannt) ein vorläufiger Antidumpingzoll auf die Einfuhren von Trichlorisocyanursäure (nachstehend "TCCA" abgekürzt) mit Ursprung in der Volksrepublik China ("VR China") und den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika ("USA") (nachstehend "betroffene Länder" genannt) in die Gemeinschaft eingeführt. [EU]	On 7 April 2005, the Commission imposed, by Regulation (EC) No 538/2005 [2] (the provisional Regulation), a provisional anti-dumping duty on the imports into the Community of trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) originating in the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the United States of America (USA) (the countries concerned).

[EU]	In view of the conclusions on the situation of the Union industry set out in recital 66 above, and in line with the arguments underpinning the likelihood of continuation of injury as explained in recitals 78 to 81, it can be considered that the expiry of the measures in force would lead to further deterioration in the economic situation of the Union TCCA industry, which has suffered from the injurious effect of the dumped imports from the PRC and whose situation has been worsened by the global economic crisis.
