[EU]	On the basis of the assessment of the cutaneous toxicities of costus root oil (Saussurea lappa Clarke), 7-Ethoxy-4-methylcoumarin, hexahydrocoumarin and peru balsam (Myroxylon pereirae), the Scientific Committee on Cosmetic Products and Non-Food Products intended for Consumers (SCCNFP) is of the opinion that those substances should not be used as fragrance ingredients in cosmetic products.
	Aufgrund der Stellungnahmen des SCCNFP vereinbarte die Kommission zusammen mit den Mitgliedstaaten und Interessenträgern eine Gesamtstrategie zur Regelung von Haarfärbemitteln, der zufolge die Industrie ihre wissenschaftlichen Daten über Haarfärbemittel zur Bewertung durch den SCCNFP vorlegen muss. [EU]	Following the opinions of the SCCNFP, the Commission together with Member States and stakeholders agreed on an overall strategy to regulate hair dyes according to which the industry was required to submit the files with scientific data on hair dyes to be evaluated by the SCCNFP.
	Da der Wissenschaftliche Ausschuss für Kosmetische Mittel und für den Verbraucher bestimmte Non-Food-Erzeugnisse (SCCNFP) genauere Angaben zur Sicherheit dieser Haarfärbemittel benötigte, um die Risikobewertung abzuschließen, wurde die Erlaubnis erteilt, diese Haarfärbemittel bis zum 30. September 2004 in kosmetischen Mitteln zu verwenden. [EU]	Since more information on the safety of those hair dyes was needed in order for the Scientific Committee for Cosmetic Products and Non-Food Products intended for Consumers (SCCNFP) to finish the risk assessment of those substances, those hair dyes have been provisionally allowed to be employed in cosmetic products until 30 September 2004.
