[EU]	On 2 February 2001, the Council imposed, by Regulation (EC) No 230/2001 [2] (the provisional Regulation) provisional anti-dumping measures on imports of certain iron or steel ropes and cables (SWR) originating in the Czech Republic, Russia, Thailand and Turkey (the three last countries will be referred to as the countries concerned).

[EU]	In view of the findings regarding Malaysia, the investigation concerning the possible circumvention of anti-dumping measures by imports of SWR consigned from Malaysia should be terminated and the registration of imports of SWR consigned from Malaysia,introduced by the initiation Regulation, should be discontinued.
	Angesichts der Schlussfolgerungen zum Anhalten des Dumpings, zur Wahrscheinlichkeit einer erneuten Schädigung und zum Gemeinschaftsinteresse sollten die Maßnahmen gegenüber den Einfuhren von SWR mit Ursprung in Russland bestätigt werden, um eine erneute Schädigung des Wirtschaftszweigs der Gemeinschaft durch die gedumpten Einfuhren zu verhindern. [EU]	In view of the conclusions reached with regard to continuation of dumping, likelihood of recurrence of injury and Community interest, the anti-dumping measures on imports of SWR originating in Russia should be confirmed in order to prevent a recurrence of injury being caused to the Community industry by the dumped imports.
	Angesichts der Tatsache, dass außer Remer Maroc SARL kein weiteres Unternehmen mitarbeitete, lässt sich aus dem parallelen Verlauf der Entwicklungen der Schluss ziehen, dass die SWR-Einfuhren aus der Volksrepublik China nach Marokko nicht für den marokkanischen Markt bestimmt waren, sondern zur Ausfuhr in die Gemeinschaft. [EU]	In the absence of cooperation from any other company except Remer Maroc SARL, it can therefore be inferred from the parallelism of the trends, that the imports from the PRC to Morocco were not destined for the Moroccan market, but were meant to be exported to the Community.
	Angesichts der vorstehenden Feststellungen sollte die zollamtliche Erfassung der Einfuhren von SWR, die aus Marokko versandt und vom Antragsteller hergestellt werden, eingestellt werden. [EU]	In the light of the above findings, registration of imports of SWR consigned from Morocco and produced by the applicant should cease.
	Angesichts der weit gehenden Nichtmitarbeit und des Fehlens jeglicher Hinweise darauf, dass in Marokko Litzen zu Seilen weiterverarbeitet werden, ist die Annahme zulässig, dass diese Statistiken die Einfuhren von SWR aus der Volksrepublik China nach Marokko angemessen widerspiegeln und dass eine solche Weiterverarbeitung, sollte sie denn stattgefunden haben, nicht von besonderer Bedeutung gewesen wäre. [EU]	However, in view of the widespread non-cooperation and in the absence of any indication that a transformation process of strands into ropes takes place in Morocco, it can be reasonably assumed that these statistical data give an adequate picture of imports of SWR from the PRC into Morocco. Moreover, if such transformation took place, it would not be substantial.
	Angesichts des geringen in die Union ausgeführten Volumens, das auf den Unionsmarkt gelangte, wurden auch die Preise der südafrikanischen SWR-Ausfuhren in die fünf nicht zur Union gehörenden Märkte nach Warentyp mit den Preisen des Wirtschaftszweigs der Union verglichen. [EU]	Given the low volume exported to the EU that entered the Union market, exports prices of South African SWR to the five main non-EU markets were also compared to the UI prices on a product type basis.
