'Abordnung' bezeichnet die vorübergehende Beschäftigung von Personal durch einen Beihilfeempfänger während eines bestimmten Zeitraums, nach dem das Personal das Recht hat, wieder zu seinem vorherigen Arbeitgeber zurückzukehren. [EU]

"secondment" means temporary employment of personnel by a beneficiary during a period of time, after which the personnel has the right to return to its previous employer.

Abordnung ist die dienstrechtliche Stellung eines Bediensteten, der durch eine Abordnungsverfügung des Direktors im dienstlichen Interesse beauftragt worden ist, vorübergehend eine Stelle außerhalb des Zentrums zu bekleiden. [EU]

A staff member on secondment is a staff member who, by decision of the Director, has been directed in the interests of the service to serve temporarily in a post outside the Centre.
