Am 30. September 2004 beantragten die AKP-Staaten im Namen der Regierung von Kap Verde für die in diesem Land hergestellten Hemden für Männer oder Knaben eine Ausnahme von der im Protokoll genannten Ursprungsregel für 140000 Stück im Jahr 2004 und schrittweise bis auf 180000 Stück im Jahr 2008 steigend. On 30 September 2004 the ACP States submitted a request, on behalf of the Government of Cape Verde, for a derogation from the rule of origin in the Protocol, in respect of men's shirts produced by this country for 140000 pieces in 2004 and gradually increasing to 180000 pieces in 2008.

Anstelle der Ursprungsregel in Anlage II zu Anhang III des Beschlusses Nr. 2/2000 gilt bis zum Abschluss der laufenden Runde der WTO-Verhandlungen die Ursprungsregel in Anmerkung 4 der Anlage IIa zu Anhang III des Beschlusses Nr. 2/2000. [EU]

The rules of origin set out in Note 4 of Appendix II(a) to Annex III to Decision No 2/2000 shall apply until the conclusion of the present round of WTO negotiations instead of the rules of origin set out in Appendix II to Annex III to that Decision. Article 3

In view of the expiry of this provision, the African, Caribbean and Pacific States submitted on 8 July 2005, on behalf of the Kingdom of Swaziland, a request for a new derogation from the rules of origin, as contained in the ACP-EC Partnership Agreement, for core spun yarns in respect of an annual quantity of 1300 tonnes, produced by this country during a period of five years and imported into the Community from 1 April 2006 onwards.

Da diese Bestimmungen auslaufen, beantragten die AKP-Staaten am 8. November 2004 eine neue Sammelausnahme von der im AKP-EG-Partnerschaftsabkommen festgelegten Ursprungsregel für Thunfisch in Dosen und für "Loins" genannte Thunfischfilets, die für alle AKP-Staaten gilt und die gesamten jährlichen Mengen abdeckt, d. h. 8000 Tonnen Thunfischkonserven und 2000 Tonnen Loins genannte Thunfischfilets, die in der Zeit nach dem 1. In view of the expiry of this provision the ACP States submitted on 8 November 2004 a request for a new global derogation from the rules of origin as contained in the ACP-EC Partnership Agreement, for canned tuna and tuna loins, valid for all ACP States, and covering the full annual quantities, i.e. 8000 tonnes of canned tuna and 2000 tonnes of tuna loins, imported into the Community from 1 March 2005 onwards.
