[EU]	By way of derogation from Annex III to Decision 2001/822/EC, fresh and frozen meat of scallops of the genus Placopecten magellanicus falling with CN code 0307 and described in the Annex which are processed in Saint Pierre and Miquelon shall be regarded as originating in Saint Pierre and Miquelon where they are obtained from non-originating spat, shell-on scallops and scallop meat, in accordance with the terms of this Decision.

[EU]	On 28 November 2007, France requested a derogation under Article 17 of Regulation (EC) No 1781/2006 for the transfers of funds between Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Mayotte, New Caledonia, French Polynesia and Wallis and Futuna respectively and France.

[EU]	On 30 November 2006 Saint Pierre and Miquelon requested a new derogation from the rules of origin set out in Annex III to Decision 2001/822/EC for a period of six years.
	Am 6. August 2001 hat die Kommission die Entscheidung 2001/657/EG über eine Ausnahme von der Bestimmung des Begriffs "Ursprungswaren" zur Berücksichtigung der besonderen Lage Saint-Pierres und Miquelons bei gefrorenen Fischfilets vom Kabeljau, Rotbarsch, Goldbarsch, Tiefenbarsch, von Schollen, vom Goldbutt oder vom Heilbutt des KN-Codes 030420 angenommen. [EU]	On 6 August 2001 the Commission adopted Decision 2001/657/EC derogating from the definition of the concept of 'originating products' to take account of the special situation of Saint Pierre and Miquelon with regard to frozen fillets of cod, redfish, plaice and halibut of CN code 030420 [2].
	Angesichts der geografischen Besonderheiten von Saint-Pierre und Miquelon und der Begrenztheit seines Binnenmarktes räumt die Kommission ein, dass eine wirtschaftliche Diversifizierung für seine Entwicklung nützlich war und dass der Tourismus zum Zeitpunkt der Beihilfegewährung einen vielversprechenden Weg darstellen konnte. [EU]	In view of the particular geographic characteristics of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and the very small size of its domestic market, the Commission admits that economic diversification was useful for its development and that tourism could prove a promising path for diversification when the aid was granted.
	Angesichts der vorstehenden Ausführungen stellt die Kommission fest, dass die fragliche Beihilfe über die Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen und die Diversifizierung der Wirtschaft einen Beitrag zur Entwicklung von Saint-Pierre und Miquelon leisten kann und dass dieser Beitrag zwar bescheiden ist, aber dennoch größer als die mögliche Beeinträchtigung des Handels durch die Beihilfe. [EU]	In the light of the above, the Commission finds that the aid in question could make a contribution to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon's development by creating jobs and diversifying its economy and that although modest, this contribution is greater than the distortion of trade between Member States that the aid could cause.
	Artikel 10 - Der Staatsrat wird in einem weiteren Dekret die Liste der Ereignisse von erheblicher Bedeutung und die Bedingungen für deren Fernsehübertragung für die überseeischen Departements, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Mayotte, Neu-Kaledonien, Französisch Polynesien und die Inseln Wallis und Futuna festlegen, wobei insbesondere den Eigenheiten jeder dieser Gemeinschaften und den technischen Besonderheiten der Überseeübertragung Rechnung getragen wird.
