On the basis of the information contained in the questionnaire replies of the cooperating users, on average, the possible profit impact of the anti-dumping measures can be estimated around 1 % on the turnover of those divisions of the user companies that use glass fibres, but less than 0,5 % on the turnover of the total companies within which glass fibre using divisions exist.

Based on the above it was concluded that there are no compelling reasons against the imposition of definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of open mesh fabrics of glass fibres originating in the PRC.

Given the above, it was concluded that the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of certain open mesh fabrics of glass fibres originating in the PRC was circumvented by transhipment from Malaysia within the meaning of Article 13(1) of the basic Regulation.

Tables 1 and 2 above clearly demonstrate that the sharp drop of PRC exports of open mesh fabrics of glass fibres to the Union was followed by a significant increase of PRC exports of open mesh fabrics of glass fibres to Malaysia with a subsequent drastic increase of Malaysian exports of open mesh fabrics of glass fibres to the Union in the IP.
