Als "Azeite do Norte Alentejano" bezeichnet wird die ölige Flüssigkeit, die mechanisch aus den Früchten der Sorten Galega, Carrasquenha, Redondil, Azeiteira oder Azeitoneira, Blanqueta oder Branquita und Cobrançosa der Art Olea europea sativa gepresst wird, nachdem sie von den Rückständen des Pflanzenwassers sowie den Teilen von Schalen, Fruchtfleisch und Steinen getrennt wurden. Diese Früchte müssen aus Olivenhainen in dem nachstehend beschriebenen geografischen Gebiet stammen und auch dort verarbeitet und aufgemacht werden. [EU]

The designation 'Azeite do Norte Alentejano' is used to describe the oily liquid extracted mechanically from the fruit (once the vegetable water has been separated from the pomace, particles of skin, pulp and pits) of olives of the Galega, Carrasquenha, Redondil, Azeiteira or Azeitoneira, Blanqueta or Branquita and Cobrançosa varieties of the species Olea europea sativa grown in olive groves located in the abovementioned geographical area, processing and market preparation being carried out in the same area.

Auch bei der Abfassung des durch die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2183/2005 in die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 795/2004 eingefügten Absatzes 10, dem zufolge Malta und Slowenien im Jahr 2006 eine Beihilfe für Olivenhaine gewähren dürfen, ist ein Fehler unterlaufen. [EU]

An error was also made in the wording of the paragraph 10 added by Regulation (EC) No 2183/2005, which authorises Malta and Slovenia to grant aid for olive groves in 2006.
