This so-called 'standard 360 formulation' accounted for around 40 % by volume of glyphosate sales in the Community by the Community industry during the analysis period and, because it is now outside of patent, is the typical formulation that is either imported from the PRC or made from imported acid or salt originating in the PRC.

Obwohl sich die Verkäufe des Wirtschaftszweigs der Gemeinschaft zur Deckung der Nachfrage nach dieser Standardformulierung nicht rentierten, ist er dennoch gezwungen, die Ware auch weiterhin anzubieten, da er mit diesen Verkäufen die Auslastung seiner Produktionskapazität und dadurch auch die Deckung seiner Fixkosten gewährleisten kann. While sales by the Community industry to supply the demand of this standard formulation have not been profitable, nevertheless, the Community industry needs to continue to supply them as these sales provide a contribution to cover their fixed costs through the maintenance of capacity utilisation.
