[EU]	It is necessary to develop common standards for market risks incurred by credit institutions and provide a complementary framework for the supervision of the risks incurred by institutions, in particular market risks, and more especially position risks, counterparty/settlement risks and foreign-exchange risks.

[EU]	In addition, the competent authorities may allow foreign-exchange positions in one institution to offset foreign-exchange positions in another institution in accordance with the rules set out in Annex III and/or Annex V. They may also allow commodities positions in one institution to offset commodities positions in another institution in accordance with the rules set out in Annex IV and/or Annex V.
	In jedem Fall sollten die Institute die Bestimmungen dieser Richtlinie hinsichtlich der Deckung des Fremdwährungsrisikos aller ihrer Umsätze erfüllen. [EU]	In any case, institutions should comply with this Directive as regards the coverage of the foreign-exchange risks on their overall business.
	Sofern die Voraussetzungen dieses Anhangs erfüllt sind, gestatten die zuständigen Behörden einem Institut, zur Berechnung seiner Eigenkapitalanforderung für das Positionsrisiko, das Fremdwährungsrisiko und/oder das Warenpositionsrisiko anstelle der Verfahren der Anhänge I, III und IV oder in Verbindung mit diesen sein eigenes internes Risikomanagementmodell zu verwenden. [EU]	The competent authorities shall, subject to the conditions laid down in this Annex, allow institutions to calculate their capital requirements for position risk, foreign-exchange risk and/or commodities risk using their own internal risk-management models instead of or in combination with the methods described in Annexes I, III and IV.
	Unbeschadet der Bestimmungen von Anhang III Nummer 2.1 Absatz 4 bzw. von Anhang V Nummer 12 Absatz 6 (Warenpositionsrisiko) in Verbindung mit Anhang III Nummer 2.1.
