Such approach is in line with the terms of Chapter 25.B.4.1.2 of the State Aid Guidelines [18] which provides: 'The low population density regions (corresponding to NUTS III level or smaller) and NUTS III regions or parts thereof which share a land border with a country which is not a Member State of the European Economic Area or EFTA, are always eligible for an aid intensity of 15 % GGE'.
