Since the German authorities refused to provide certain information, the Commission enjoined Germany by decision of 3 March 1999, which was sent to Germany by letter dated 24 March 1999, to submit that information.

In the same letter, the Commission enjoined Italy to provide, in accordance with Article 10(2) and (3) of Council Regulation (EC) No 659/1999 all documents, information and data needed for assessing the compatibility of the measures in question within one month of receipt of that letter.

Mit Entscheidung vom 22. April 2004 forderte die Kommission Italien auf, binnen einem Monat alle für die Bewertung der Maßnahme erforderlichen Informationen vorzulegen. [EU]

By decision of 22 April 2004, the Commission enjoined Italy to submit all the relevant information necessary for the complete assessment of the measure within one month.

Was Artikel 4 des Gesetzes Nr. 290/99 anbelangt, forderte die Kommission Italien in ihrem Beschluss zur Einleitung des Verfahrens nach Artikel 88 Absatz 2 EG-Vertrag auf, alle verfügbaren Informationen über die ursprünglichen Bedingungen (Zinssätze, Bürgschaften usw.) für die Gewährung der Darlehen, deren Rückzahlungsfrist mit Artikel 4 des Gesetzes Nr. 290/99 verlängert wurde, zu übermitteln, den Gesamtbetrag der gewährten Darlehen anzugeben und mitzuteilen, ob die fraglichen Beihilfen unter eine bestehende Beihilferegelung fielen (und falls ja, unter welche). The Commission, in its decision to initiate the procedure under Article 88(2) of the Treaty, enjoined Italy to provide all the information available on the terms and conditions (interest rates, guarantees if any, etc.) at which the loans for which an extension was provided by Article 4 of Law No 290/99 were originally granted and the overall amount of the loans granted, as well as to indicate whether the aid formed part of an existing aid scheme (and if so to indicate which one).
