Mit dem Gesetz vom 1. The Law of 1 August 1960 (amending the above Law) included the object in its provisions, on the basis of the following considerations: "The draft Law submitted to you therefore determines the object of SNCB, stipulating that the latter may lawfully undertake any activity associated with the operation of the network, in particular the running of buffets, snack bars, etc. ..., the building of rolling-stock for its use, the organisation of all road transport with a view to facilitating the carriage of goods ... ."
