Eine reine Reduktion des Themas Integration auf Sprache ist zu kurz gegriffen, weil auch die Mehrheitsgesellschaft sich integrieren muss in ein neues Ganzes und wir die Pflicht der Mehrsprachigkeit fördern müssen, wenn wir uns global verstehen", erklärt Gari Pavkovic, Leiter der Stabstelle für Integrationspolitik in Stuttgart, die Problematik. "We think that language is the basis of integration, but language skills alone are not enough. Simply confining the topic of integration to language falls short of the mark, since even the majority of society must integrate itself into a new global system and we have to promote the obligatory ability to speak several languages in order to understand each other on a global scale".
