Januar 1996 wird der Beitrag u. a. auf lebende Rinder und Schafe sowie auf Rind- und Schaffleischerzeugnisse erhoben, die in ein anderes EU-Land verbracht werden, auch wenn im Jahr 2001 eine teilweise Rückerstattung dieses Beitrags eingeführt wurde.
