	In seiner Antwort vom 7. Oktober 2005 auf das Auskunftsersuchen der Kommission vom 25. August 2005 erklärte Frankreich, dass in Frankreich im Rahmen der Regelung über staatliche Beihilfen keine Maßnahme durchgeführt worden sei, um den Schwierigkeiten infolge des kürzlich erfolgten, erheblichen Anstiegs des Treibstoffpreises zu begegnen (... "aucune mesure relevant du régime d'aide d'Etat n'a été mise en œ;uvre en France pour faire face aux difficultés en raison de la récente augmentation considérable des prix du carburant.").
