It is also necessary to ensure that the countries previously falling within the scope of Regulation (EC) No 1934/2006 - industrialised and other high-income countries and territories - are not placed at a disadvantage, particularly in financial terms, by the extension of that Regulation's geographical scope.

Die Europäische Union und bestimmte industrialisierte Länder und Gebiete sowie andere Länder und Gebiete mit hohem Einkommen sind übereingekommen, ihre Beziehungen zu stärken und in den Bereichen, in denen sie gemeinsame Interessen haben, über eine Reihe bilateraler Instrumente wie Abkommen, Erklärungen, Aktionspläne und andere gleich gelagerte Dokumente zusammenzuarbeiten. The European Union and industrialised and other high-income countries and territories have agreed to strengthen their relationship and to cooperate across the areas in which they have shared interests through a variety of bilateral instruments such as agreements, declarations, action plans and other similar documents.

Für die Zwecke dieser Verordnung sind 'industrialisierte Länder und Gebiete und andere Länder und Gebiete mit hohem Einkommen' die Länder und Gebiete, die in Anhang I dieser Verordnung aufgeführt sind, und 'Entwicklungsländer' die Länder, die unter die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1905/2006 des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates vom 18. Dezember 2006 zur Schaffung eines Finanzierungsinstruments für die Entwicklungszusammenarbeit fallen und in Anhang II der vorliegenden Verordnung aufgeführt sind. [EU]

For the purpose of this Regulation, "industrialised and other high-income countries and territories" shall comprise countries and territories listed in Annex I to this Regulation and "developing countries" shall comprise countries falling under Regulation (EC) No 1905/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 establishing a financing instrument for development cooperation and listed in Annex II to this Regulation.

Industrialisierte Länder und Gebiete und andere Länder und Gebiete mit hohem Einkommen im Sinne dieser Verordnung sind die im Anhang aufgeführten Länder und Gebiete, die nachstehend als "Partnerländer" bezeichnet werden. [EU]

For the purpose of this Regulation, industrialised and other high-income countries and territories shall comprise countries and territories listed in the Annex and are hereinafter referred to as 'partner countries'.
