EFSA-Q-2008-118). [EU]	Following an application from McNeil Nutritionals, submitted pursuant to Article 14(1)(a) of Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006, the Authority was required to deliver an opinion on a health claim related to the effects of plant stanol esters on blood cholesterol and the risk of coronary heart disease (Question No EFSA-Q-2008-118) [3].
	Unter Berücksichtigung der wissenschaftlichen Stellungsnahme der Behörde und damit sichergestellt ist, dass solche gesundheitsbezogenen Angaben zum Ausmaß der angegebenen Wirkung auf eine Weise zugelassen werden, die nicht irreführend für den Verbraucher ist, und damit ihre Verwendungsbedingungen auf einheitliche Weise festgelegt werden, ist es daher erforderlich, die festgelegten Verwendungsbedingungen der zwei zugelassenen gesundheitsbezogenen Angaben im Hinblick auf die Wirkung von Planzensterolen und Pflanzenstanolestern bei der Senkung des Cholesteringehalts im Blut zu ändern. [EU]	Therefore, taking into account the scientific opinion from the Authority and in order to ensure that such health claims referring to the magnitude of the claimed effect are authorised in a way that would not mislead the consumer, and that their conditions of use are set in a coherent way, it is necessary to amend the conditions of use set for the two authorised health claims related to the effects of plant sterols and plant stanol esters on the lowering of the blood cholesterol.
