	In Hannover sind Abzüge der Werkzeugmaschinen und der mit ihnen hergestellten Produkte zu sehen. Da Ruff das gesamte Negativ zeigt, sind Bildschichten der Ursprungsaufnahme zu sehen, die deren ursprünglicher Fotograf zwar bei der Aufnahme in Kauf genommen hatte, in der späteren Bearbeitung aber ausblendete. Monumentale Maschinenhallen ragen zufällig ins Bild, Reste von Werkbänken, Krananlagen, gelegentlich auch Menschen, die hinter den Bildobjekten standen und mit weißen Tüchern einen neutralen Hintergrund für die Aufnahme erzeugten. Ruff lässt alle Retuschespuren und Kennziffern so stehen, wie er sie vorgefunden hat. Deutlich erkennt man, dass es sich wirklich nur um Rohmaterial handelt. Since Ruff shows the whole of the negative, parts of the original photograph can be seen which the original photographer had allowed when taking the picture, but had masked during subsequent processing. Caught on camera by chance are monumental machine halls, bits of workbenches, cranes, and sometimes also people standing behind the objects photographed, holding up a white cloth as a neutral backdrop. Ruff leaves all the traces of touching-up and the identification numbers as he found them. This evidently was just raw material.
