	Ungeachtet des Artikels 24 Absatz 2 der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1257/1999 können die für eine Gemeinschaftsbeihilfe in Betracht kommenden jährlichen Höchstbeträge im Sinne des Anhangs der genannten Verordnung für Maßnahmen zum Schutz der Seen auf den Azoren und zur Erhaltung der Landschaft und der traditionellen Merkmale der Landbaugebiete, insbesondere zur Erhaltung der tragenden Steinmauern für den Terrassenanbau, auf Madeira bis auf das Doppelte angehoben werden. [EU]	Notwithstanding Article 24(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1257/1999, the maximum amounts per year eligible for Community aid, as set out in the Annex to that Regulation, may be increased up to twofold in the case of the measure to protect lakes in the Azores and the measure to preserve the landscape and traditional features of agricultural land, in particular the conservation of stone walls supporting terraces in Madeira.
