	Noch im September 1929 setzte sich Benn in seiner Eigenschaft als Korrspondent der Pariser Literaturzeitschrift Bifur - wenn auch vergeblich - für Brecht ein: "Ich habe also Herrn Brecht gebeten, mir den Lindbergh-Flug zu schicken, er hat es getan, ich habe es mir durchgelesen und finde es recht nett. ... Es ist vielleicht besonders geeignet, da es ja zum Schluss in Paris Bourget spielt." [G]	In his capacity as a correspondent for the Parisian literary magazine Bifur, Benn was still - if vainly - supporting Brecht in September 1929: I therefore asked Mr. Brecht to send me Der Lindbergh-Flug (Lindbergh's Flight), which he did, I have read it and find it pretty good. ... It may be particularly suitable because it is set in Paris Bourget at the end."
