Indigotin besteht im Wesentlichen aus einer Mischung von Dinatrium-3,3′-dioxo-2,2′-bi-indolyliden-5,5′-disulfonat, Dinatrium-3,3′-dioxo-2,2′-bi-indolyliden-5,7′-disulfonat und sonstigen Farbstoffen sowie Natriumchlorid und/oder Natriumsulfat als den wichtigsten farblosen Bestandteilen. [EU] Indigotine consists essentially of a mixture of disodium 3,3′dioxo-2,2′-bi-indolylidene-5,5′-disulfonate, and disodium 3,3′-dioxo-2,2′-bi-indolylidene-5,7′-disulfonate and subsidiary colouring matters together with sodium chloride and/or sodium sulphate as the principal uncoloured components.
