fr. casus fall, accident, fr. cadere to fall. See {Case}.]
1. Happening or coming to pass without design, and without
being foreseen or expected; accidental; fortuitous; coming
by chance.

2. Coming without regularity; occasional; incidental; as,
casual expenses.
