The sum of vegetable life; vegetables or plants in general; as, luxuriant vegetation. 3. (Med.) An exuberant morbid outgrowth upon any part, especially upon the valves of the heart. {Vegetation of salts} (Old Chem.), a crystalline growth of an arborescent form. |
