      AS. g[be]nian; akin to ginian to yawn, g[c6]nan to yawn, open
      wide, G. g[84]hnen to yawn, OHG. gin[emac]n, gein[omac]n,
      Icel. g[c6]na to yawn, gin the mouth, OSlav. zijati to yawn,
      L. hiare to gape, yawn; and perhaps to E. begin, cf. Gr.
