Peer \Peer\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Peered}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Peering}.] [OF. parir, pareir equiv. to F. para[8c]tre to appear, L. parere. Cf. {Appear}.] 1. To come in sight; to appear.
