      {Tipping}.]
      To form a point upon; to cover the tip, top, or end of; as,
      to tip anything with gold or silver.

   Tipping \Tip"ping\, n. (Mus.)
      A distinct articulation given in playing quick notes on the
      flute, by striking the tongue against the roof of the mouth;
      double-tonguing.
