[94]nska; from AS. w[?]sc a wish; akin to OD. & G. wunsch, OHG. wunsc, Icel. [?]sk, Skr. v[be][?]ch[be] a wish, v[be][?]ch to wish; also to Skr. van to like, to wish. [?].
