L. effrons, -ontis, putting forth the forehead, i. e., barefaced, shameless; ex + frons the forehead. See {Front}.] Impudence or boldness in confronting or in transgressing the bounds of duty or decorum; insulting presumptuousness; shameless boldness; barefaced assurance.
