Vouchsafe \Vouch*safe"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Vouchsafed}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Vouchsafing}.] [Vouch + safe, that is, to vouch or answer for safety.] 1. To condescend to grant; to concede; to bestow.
