Alleluia \Al`le*lu"ia\, Alleluiah \Al`le*lu"iah\, n. [L. alleluia, Gr. [?], fr. Heb. hall[emac]l[umac]-y[be]h. See {Hallelujah}.] An exclamation signifying Praise ye Jehovah.
