[G] Two events mark the start of the "New German Crime Novel". In 1962 Richard K. Flesch took over the crime novel editorial office at the Rohwalt-Verlag and started to systematically promote German authors, such as Hans-Jörg Martin, Friedhelm Werremeier, Irene Rodrian, Michael Molsner or Richard Hey.
