   Displayed \Dis*played"\, a.
      1. Unfolded; expanded; exhibited conspicuously or
            ostentatiously.
  
      2. (Her.) With wings expanded; -- said of a bird of pray,
            esp. an eagle.
  
      3. (Print.) Set with lines of prominent type interspersed, to
            catch the eye.
