      pl. of huitieve, witieve, etc., eighth, L. octavus. See
      {Octave}, n.] [Written also {utis}.]
      1. (O. Eng. Law) The eighth day after any term or feast; the
            octave; as, the utas of St. Michael. --Cowell.
