Schließlich sind das die Orte, wo seit Anfang der 80er Jahre die klassischen HipHop-Disziplinen Breakdance, Graffiti-Sprayen, DJ-ing (das Basteln neuer Rhythmen an den Plattenspielern) und MC-ing (die Reimkunst) auch in Deutschland ihre Jünger rekrutierten. Vor allem Hip-Hop-Zeitschriften starten solche Initiativen und schreiben immer wieder auch Wettbewerbe aus. [G] Hip-hop magazines in particular tend to launch this sort of initiative and advertise competitions.
