.2 Neue Schiffe der Klassen B, C und D ab einer Länge von 130 Metern müssen mit einem von der Verwaltung des Flaggenstaates unter Berücksichtigung der Empfehlungen im von der IMO mit der Entschließung 892(21) angenommen Internationalen Handbuch für den Notfall bei Marine und Luftfahrt (IAMSAR) in der geänderten Fassung, sowie des IMO-Rundschreibens MSC/Circ.895 'Recommendations on helicopter landing areas on ro-ro passenger ships' zugelassenen Hubschrauberlandeplatz ausgestattet sein. .2 New ro-ro passenger ships of class B, C and D of 130 metres and upwards in length shall be fitted with a helicopter landing area approved by the Administration of the flag State having regard to the recommendations in the International Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue (IAMSAR) Manual, adopted by IMO with Resolution A.892(21), as amended, and IMO MSC/Circ.895, Recommendations on helicopter landing areas on ro-ro passenger ships.

In Hinblick auf die besondere Situation Liechtensteins aufgrund des kombinierten Effekts eines sehr kleinen Hoheitsgebiets, einer besonderen geografischen Struktur und des geringen Luftverkehrsaufkommens in Liechtenstein sowie aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es keine internationalen Linienflüge nach oder aus Liechtenstein gibt und dass die Infrastruktur für die Zivilluftfahrt in Liechtenstein aus einem einzigen Hubschrauberlandeplatz besteht, gilt diese Verordnung nicht für die bestehende Infrastruktur der Zivilluftfahrt im Hoheitsgebiet Liechtensteins. In view of the specific situation of Liechtenstein resulting from the combined effect of a very small territory, a specific geographical structure as well as from the fact that the total amount of air traffic in Liechtenstein is very limited, that no international regular air services to or from Liechtenstein are available and that the civil aviation infrastructure in Liechtenstein consists of only one heliport, this Regulation should not apply to the existing civil aviation infrastructure in the territory of Liechtenstein.
